The Bible teaches us to “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal 6:2). This command is impossible to fulfill unless we know each other. We don’t believe that church should be a large, anonymous community. It is a family; a place to belong.
The Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting is one important way we encourage this goal. It is an opportunity for us to connect as a smaller group, discuss God’s Word, share what is going on in our life, and to lift one another up in prayer to God.
Other opportunities for connecting include our monthly shared meals (Sunday after church), participating in the RPC Choir, and special events and activities that we schedule periodically.
