Our Ministries
At Redeemer, the center of our church life is the Sunday morning worship service. It is not merely another program or event. It is the Lord’s Day. God himself summons us to worship him on the first of the week, and we devote ourselves to the Bible’s teaching, fellowship, the breaking of the bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42).
Before the morning service we have our Christian Education hour where we will study together a wide range of subjects from a Biblical perspective.
We have various other opportunities throughout the month to grow in our knowledge of God and to serve others. We sponsor a Ladies’ Bible studies that focus on practical aspects of Godly living. We also have a midweek Bible Study/Prayer meeting that is open to all.
In addition to these ongoing classes, we offer Christianity 101 courses for prospective members and Biblical counseling for those facing difficulties in their life.
As we have opportunity, we seek to do good to all. Sometimes this means that our chu
rch family pulls together to help someone in need, or that we volunteer at the homeless shelter, the crisis pregnancy center, or go on a short-term mission trip. Serving others is not a program at our church; it is a lifestyle.
